Outwardly cool but socially very charming. Rats enjoy being part of a group and are imaginative, observant and intelligent. Rats are very diplomatic and excellent givers of sound advice. They also scurry about a lot and this can lead to them having many fingers in lots of pies. This can be negative, as they tend to be a Jack-of-all-trades as opposed to a master of none. Rats are very passionate lovers with deep feelings that do not always get recognized by there partners. Next year of the rat is 2008. Western Equivalent is Sagittarius.

These are the loners of the Chinese Zodiac that enjoy plodding along at their own speed. They enjoy being in their abode and just pottering about. An Ox is not usually very adventurous, as they like to stick to routine, which they do with method and application. They have considerable strength and can never be taken lightly or thought of as a pushover. Ox’s can be very stubborn and will not budge at all. However they make steadfast and loyal lovers showing lots of affection to there Partners. Next year of the Ox is 2009.Western equivalent is Capricorn.

Tigers have speed, passion, strength, courage and a restless love of freedom. They need independence and also like to dominate. Tigers will always meet challenges head on and like to occupy positions of power. Tigers detest routine and the trivialities of life as well as being restless they are always on the prowl. They will stalk their prey and pounce when the time seems right. A Tiger can be flirty but loyal and very generous and really passionate, they make excellent parents and friends. 2010 is next Tiger year. Aquarius is western equivalent.

These peace-loving animals like to keep out of arguments even turning a deaf ear to a situation. They make excellent negotiators although being diplomatic they can at times be too sentimental. Diplomacy is certainly a strength of these animals. They take offence at any criticism that comes their way. Surprisingly fun loving these security-seeking bunnies makes very sensitive lovers of which they pamper and spoil rotten. 2011 is the next bunny year. Pisces is western equivalent.

Dragons are exceptional creatures but can be proud, over assertive and intolerant of other people. They enjoy causing a stir, as they just adore all the attention. The dragon will never be afraid of taking the bull by the horns and making a decision popular or other wise. These creatures are sacred to the Chinese and hold much power and respect. Through partnerships they get a lot of stimulation from sex and enjoy any empathy that is going. Their companions need to be on the same wavelength. 2012 is next Dragon year. Aries is western equivalent.

Wise and meditative, the snake may lie in coils for hours then effortlessly dart out his or her tongue. Snake people usually know what they want and go and get it in their own good time without hurrying. They are very adaptable and secretive. They can also be a bit dubious of other people’s intentions and gaining their trust is very hard. Snake's function well in crowds but need their own space and find Isolation very comforting. They enjoy sex and can be possessive and jealous. We are now in a Snake year. Taurus is the western equivalent.
